For some, an “Ischemia evaluation” is recommended for any areas with a diameter stenosis that is questionable in terms of requiring a coronary artery stent procedure or intervention. In other words, is the area of reduced diameter stenosis impacting the heart cells and muscle downstream (ischemia).
